The Armed Forces Mothers is a 501(c) non-profit organization that provides support to those serving those in our armed forces and their families.
First organized locally in 1985 as the United States Air Force Mothers, the US Armed Forces Mothers is a group of women with sons and daughters serving in all branches of the United States Armed Services. In July 1990, the group then known as US Air Force
Mothers decided to reorganize to provide support to “Moms” with sons and daughters serving in all branches of the military. This led to our present title, United States Armed Forces Mothers, Squad 41.
Our primary mission is to provide support for our sons and daughters as they serve far from home, often in very dangerous places and to give support to their families and to each other. A second goal is to enhance awareness of military life on behalf of those stationed at home or abroad during war or peace and to demonstrate community support through our activities for those who serve us daily.
Christmas boxes - a year long effort, containing donated and purchased gifts as well as homemade candies and cookies
Events - active in many local military/veteran events such as Memorial Day & Veterans Day parades, Armed Forces Day events, "Wall That Heals" events
Financial assistance - Emergency Leave Fund which grants a monetary gift to the sponsored son or daughter to help bring them home during a family crisis at home
Fundraising - various fundraising activities including a Halloween Dance, Boscovs, sell items at different events, sub sales
Deployed boxes - sent to deployed members at different times of the year
Other - Birthday cards, gifts for special occasions
There are many ways in which you can help us with our mission of providing support to the men and women in our armed forces and their families.

"As a United States Armed Forces Mother, I will do my best for God and my country. Serving with pride, I will strive at all times to live according to the rules and regulations of the United States Armed Forces Mothers.
I will stand beside all those who have died defending our country, and with "Old Glory" beside me, I will uphold the Constitution of the United States of America and defend the principles of life, liberty, and justice for all.
With prayer for all men and women in the service of our country, I will strive to live a life that by example before all, will glorify our Father in Heaven.
I will never forget that I am a United States Armed Forces Mother, responsible for my actions and serving with pride, I will trust in God and my country and the principles which keep her free."
